IN FOCUS: Thy Kingdom Come week of prayer

Join the global wave of prayer from 28th May—4th June. The church will be set up with activities for all ages including prayer stations based around the Lord’s Prayer and a prayer labyrinth to walk through while focussing on our walk with God. The church will be open at the following times:—

Tuesday 30th May, 9am-1pm;

Wednesday 31st May, 1pm-5pm;

Thursday 1st June, 5pm-9pm;

Friday 2nd June, 9am-1pm.

FAMILY NEWS:

THANK YOU!! We have received a card, pinned up at the back of church, from Stu, Lucy, Joshua, Abbie & Hannah Plumb thanking everyone for the gift & beautiful send off and for supporting Stu at his licensing service.

RAINBOWS SUMMER FUN DAY is on Saturday 10th June, 10am—2pm. We need an army of helpers to set up & clear away, serve refreshments, bake cakes, run stalls, come along & take part. We also need donations of good quality books, toys & bric a brac. If you can help, please sign up or speak to Lizzie Cronin.

KINGSTON INTERFAITH FORUM invite people of all faiths & none to come together and Stand Together for peace, compassion, understanding & hope in solidarity with the people of Manchester and all affected by terrorism. Tuesday 30th May at 3pm outside Bentalls.

WOMEN’S WEEKEND AWAY at the Oast Houses in East Sussex 13th to 15th October is full with a waiting list. Please remember the balance of £105 is due by the end of May, please give it to Brenda Robertson, Heather Coupland or Caroline Dennis.

LONDON BIBLE WEEK: MEETING JESUS IN GOD’S WORD, 17-22 July at Emmanuel Centre, Westminster. Hear from some of the best Bible teachers, including Tom Wright, Elaine Storkey and Krish Kandiah. Tickets & information at londonbibleweek.com

THE STORY OF SAUL AND DAVID is brought vividly to life in a novel by J. Francis Hudson, Rabshakeh, which Simon and Heather Coupland highly recommend. It’s out of print, but copies can easily be found on https://www.bookfinder.com/ or on Kindle.
