Giving

Generosity is a natural response when we encounter God who has given us everything.

The life and ministry of St Paul’s is enabled almost entirely by the generosity of individuals, in giving of their time, talents and finances. We are thankful to you all, as together we look to follow Jesus and fulfil the mission and ministry he has given us.

Find out how to give and where your money goes below…

How to give

Regular giving:

Financial giving is part of what it means to follow Jesus with the whole of our lives and, if you call St Paul’s Kingston “your church”, we encourage you to give regularly via the Parish Giving Scheme. This can be set up in three ways: online, by phone or by post. For more information and guidance on how to do this, please see this document.

One off donations:

If you would like to give a one off donation, you can do so using the following details:

Account name: St Pauls Church
Sort code: 16-22-24
Account number: 10630055

If you are a UK tax payer, we can claim gift aid on your donation. Please download this form and return it to: St Paul’s Church Office, Queens Road, Kingston upon Thames, KT2 7SF or email it to office@stpaulskingston.org.uk

Wills and Legacies

Gifts left to St Paul’s in wills, or legacies, are a great way for you to give to the mission and ministry of St Paul’s and these gifts are exempt from inheritance tax. More information about how to write your will to ensure that your gift reaches where you intend it can be found here.

Where does the money go?

Over 85% of the income of St Paul’s Kingston comes from donations from individuals and we thank God and you all for every penny that you give. Your giving goes to funding the vision of St Pauls - to be a people who, through encounter, transformation and love, are growing in their life with God - making disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Each year we give 10% of our general income to help fund our mission partners, and a further 10% of our general income to the Diocese of Southwark to help fund mission and ministry across South London and East Surrey.

The remaining 80% is spent on the mission and ministry that God has called us to in Kingston; if you want to know more, read our Annual Report, or check out our latest vision and giving talks below:
